Katitawa....In the news

Un expectedly a Channel 5 TV crew showed up this morning wnating to do a little story about the school. Their main interest was in our solar powered electric system but when they heard about our new waterless toilets that really caught there attention.

Rufino explained how the system works and even made a deposit in the special compost bin to show that it was not an unplesant expierence.

Before they headed back to Quito, they stopped by the library and computer center and filmed a couple of kids learning how to type with all ten fingers.
